Hey guys! Today I want to show you an awesome brand I found out about a few weeks ago, Bettina polish. Now, the unfortunate thing is that these polishes are only sold in parts of southern Florida and Puerto Rico. I was able to score a few through swapping, but I'm determined to one day own the entire collection.

Today's Bettina polish is Orchidea. A lovely mint creme polish. I used two coats for full coverage. The brushes aren't my favorite, I'd prefer a wider brush, but overall application was smooth.

I got lucky in getting Orchidea. If you know anything about me you know that mint is my favorite color of polish. A friend of mine is also a huge mint lover. So, we made a minty pact. She would find mint colors I couldn't get and send them to me, and I would do the same for her. Thus, Orchidea came to be!
Thanks for reading! Hope you're able to get some Bettinas of your own!

My very first blog! I'm so excited to share my love of beer and nails with you guys. I hope you will enjoy the beers I have picked out for review. I will probably throw in some beer inspired manicures to do as well.

First up for review is a new beauty box company called Nail Art Society. Not going to lie here, I was extremely nervous about signing up for this. I had heard enough bad reviews about this company that I wasn't sure if I made the right decision or not. I'm so glad I did though, here is what I got!

Everything came in a black sequined make up bag. Bag seems of decent quality, and none of the sequins are bent or falling off so I'm pleased. The centerpiece of the bag is the LVX Legandaire polish.

Also in the bag were some feathers (not sure what kind of bird), a small pot of sequins, silver striping tape, and 3 cards. One card was more information about LVX polish (they are 5 free, vegan, and do not test on animals). And the 2 other cards were hot trends and a tutorial on how to do a feather manicure.

Here is the manicure I did with some of the supplies

The polish was great and went on nicely in two coats. Legendaire is a dusty-type lavender color. I'm not really a fan for dusty colors, but this one actually surprised me. The brush was excellent quality as well. I'm really a fan of nice wide brushes, and LVX is right there in the middle. Not wide but not tiny like Essie polishes.

Overall, I'm keeping my subscription for another month to see what they have planned for next month's bag. They definitely have a few kinks to work out, but I think if they keep the quality of the polishes high then I'll be keeping my subscription for a long time.

Thanks for reading my first blog post!
